Biographies

Benoit Mayer-Godin, M. Sc., CFA, CMT
President & Portfolio Manager

Benoit Mayer-Godin began his career in the investment industry in 1996. He has prior experience with major brokerage and investment management firms, such as National Bank Financial and Fiera Capital. As portfolio manager and strategist, Benoit covered both institutional and individual clients. Through the years, he has developed solid abilities in stock selection and asset mix, in addition to risk management and quantitative analysis. Mr Mayer-Godin brings rigor and discipline to an analytical skill set. He is always on the lookout for his client’s needs and completely focused to offer an outstanding service.

His investment philosophy marries at once economic and strategic views, as well as securities’ fundamental and technical outlooks. When he founded Alizé Capital, Benoit brought to the table, high standards in research and risk management along with a complete commitment and dedication to his clients.

Benoit graduated from HEC Montreal with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master's degree in Finance (M.Sc.). He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation as well as the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) title.

 

Guillaume Boivin-Dumais, M. Eng., M. Sc.
Analyst, Trader and Service Representative

Guillaume Boivin-Dumais started his career as an Aerospace Engineer where he developed a strong expertise in software development, modeling and quantitative analysis. He subsequently worked for venture capital firms where he analyzed and provided advice on various Aerospace & Defense research and development investments. After completing a Master of Finance, he joined Alizé Capital as a Quantitative Analyst. He brings with him his passion for the economy and the equity markets which he’s been following diligently for the past 25 years.

Mr. Boivin-Dumais is also responsible for the administrative service of Alizé Capital and strives to provide its customers and partners with the utmost experience and service.

Guillaume has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from HEC Montreal in addition to a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering (M. Sc.) from ESG-UQAM. He passed Level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. He is scheduled to sit for the Level III exam and is working toward obtaining the CFA designation in the near future.

 

Anna Herrera
Service Assistant

Anna began her career in the field of administration and logistics, where she developed excellent customer service skills and a keen attention to detail. Over the years, Anna has demonstrated a remarkable ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks, while also excelling in communication and interpersonal relations. She later discovered a passion for holistic medicine and medicinal plants. She leverages her expertise in creating herbal teas and herbal products, offering a natural and caring approach to everyone's well-being.


At Alizé, Anna takes on the responsibility of administrative services to optimize operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience. She also communicates clearly with clients, offering training sessions and improving online platforms.


Anna holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from McGill.

Louise Mayer
Administrative Assistant

A university graduate, Louise is multi-talented and has several years of experience as an administrative assistant in a variety of sectors. In her role, she assists management and ensures stellar communications with clients.

Louise has demonstrated the ability to adapt to any situation and is focused on delivering quality work to maintain the highest standards of customer service. Her background brings a different perspective to the team. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact her.
